Getting Started with StoreBoost — Complete Guide

StoreBoost is a Wix native app that lets you set minimum and maximum order quantity rules on a per-product basis. This guide covers everything you need to get up and running.

1. Installing StoreBoost

Follow these steps to install StoreBoost on your Wix store:

  • Go to the Wix App Market and search for StoreBoost

  • Click Add to Site and select your Wix site

  • Click Agree & Add to accept the permissions

  • Once installed, StoreBoost appears in your dashboard under Apps

  • Click Open to launch the StoreBoost dashboard — the database collections are created automatically on first load

StoreBoost requires an active Wix Stores installation on your site. If you do not have Wix Stores set up, install it first from the App Market before adding StoreBoost.

2. Setting a Product Rule (Min/Max Per Product or Variant)


  • Open the StoreBoost dashboard → Product Rules tab

  • Find the product using the search bar

  • Click  → Manage Rule

  • Enter a Minimum Quantity, Maximum Quantity, or both

  • Optionally add a Custom Message shown to customers at checkout

  • Click Save

Rules apply immediately. For products with variants (e.g. sizes, colours), expand the product row and set rules per variant, or set a product-level rule that applies to all variants.

3. Setting a Category Rule (Pro)

Category rules apply to all products in a Wix Store collection. Product-level rules always override category rules.

  • Go to the Category Rules tab

  • Click + Add rule

  • Select a Collection from the dropdown

  • Enter Min Qty, Max Qty, or both

  • Optionally add a custom message

  • Click Save


4. Setting a Global Cart Minimum (Pro)

Requires a minimum total quantity across all items in the cart before checkout.

  • Go to the Cart & Checkout tab

  • Under Global cart minimum, enter the Minimum quantity

  • Optionally add a custom message (e.g. "Your cart must have at least 3 items to check out")

  • Click Save


5. Setting a Per-Category Cart Minimum (Pro)

Requires a minimum number of items from a specific collection in the cart.

  • Go to the Cart & Checkout tab

  • Under Category minimums, click + Add minimum

  • Select the Collection

  • Enter the Minimum Qty

  • Optionally add a custom message

  • Click Save

6. Removing a Rule

Product rule: Open the Product Rules tab → click  → Remove Rule

Category rule: Open the Category Rules tab → click  → Remove Rule

Cart minimum: Open the Cart & Checkout tab → click  → Remove next to the rule

7. Troubleshooting Common Issues

Rules are not showing on the live store

  • Ensure your Wix site is published after saving the rule

  • Clear your browser cache and reload the store page

  • Confirm the app is installed and active in your dashboard

Products are not loading in the StoreBoost dashboard

  • Ensure Wix Stores is installed and has at least one product added

  • Try refreshing the StoreBoost dashboard

  • Log out of your Wix account and log back in

A rule was saved but is not applying correctly

  • Check that the minimum quantity is not higher than the maximum quantity — this creates a conflict

  • Ensure the product is set to active and visible in your Wix Stores product list

  • Contact us at support@kalvegalabs.com if the issue persists

The app is not appearing in my dashboard

  • Go to your Wix site dashboard → Apps → Manage Apps

  • Check that StoreBoost is listed and not paused or disabled

  • If it does not appear, reinstall from the Wix App Market
